The Melasti area is located in the south of Bali. This is a green area with developed infrastructure and the best beaches on the island. Due to the limited number of ocean view sites, the world's leading hotel brands prefer this location for their resorts.
Over the past few years, the beach has changed noticeably. To it, as to neighboring Pandava, roads were cut into the rock, which greatly simplified access to the beach and Melasti became as crowded and popular as Pandava.
Along the shoreline of the beach there is a Balinese Kori Agung style covered gate which adds to the unique feel of the place. Thanks to the multi-level roads, there are gorgeous 180-degree views around every corner, and the entire Melasti backdrop is a great place for photo shoots. The sunset is not visible here (the beach is south, and the sun sets behind the edge of Bukit), but in the last minutes of sunset, the sky turns into stunning pink-red tones.
