Ubud

The city of Ubud, located in the highlands of Bali, is considered the center of folk crafts and dances. Ubud is surrounded by tropical forests, rice fields and terraces, among which are Hindu temples and sanctuaries. Since ancient times, Goa Gajah ("Elephant Cave") and Gunung Kawi with tombs carved into the rocks have been considered holy places in this area.
